Safety first. Always wear gloves and eye protection. Never mix chemicals together. Always add chemical to water — never water to chemical. Dose to your test results, not by guesswork. Keep products sealed in original containers and follow your product label and local health code.

10:1 water to acid

Retest after

  • 1Measure water into a bucket first, then slowly add acid — never reverse the order.
  • 2Pour diluted solution in front of a return jet with the pump running.
  • 3Retest pH and alkalinity after 30–60 minutes. Add additional doses incrementally.
