Highly corrosive. Gloves, goggles, and ventilation are required at all times. Always add acid to water — never add water to acid. Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
Dilution ratio
10:1 water to acid
Retest after
30–60 min
- 1Measure water into a bucket first, then slowly add acid — never reverse the order.
- 2Pour diluted solution in front of a return jet with the pump running.
- 3Retest pH and alkalinity after 30–60 minutes. Add additional doses incrementally.
