Muriatic Acid

How to Use

Wear protective gloves and eyewear. For pools, slowly add the measured amount to the deepest area while the pump is running. Allow the water to circulate, then retest before adding more.

For surface cleaning, always add acid to water, never water to acid. Apply the diluted solution, scrub as needed and rinse thoroughly. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.

Recommended dose

For swimming pools, add up to 16 fl. oz. per 1,000 gallons when pH is above 7.6. Add gradually, circulate and retest until the pH reaches 7.2–7.6.

For concrete or masonry cleaning, dilute 8 fl. oz. per gallon of water. For concrete etching, dilute 16 fl. oz. per gallon of water.
